UpChecker is a free utility for checking whether a website responds. You may use it for any lawful purpose. Automated bulk querying of the check endpoint is not permitted; we rate-limit abusive traffic. The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability or accuracy.
UpChecker stores no personal data. Requests contain only the URL you type. The recently checked list keeps the last few hostnames and their status, shown publicly on the homepage and pruned automatically (max 20 entries, newest first; duplicates removed). No accounts, no cookies for tracking, no analytics beacons, no third-party ad scripts. Total-check counts are stored as an aggregate number only.
When you press Summarize, the stored check results are summarized by a local AI model running on our own server; they are not sent to any external service.
An “UP” result means our server received an HTTP response during the check. It is not a guarantee that the site works correctly in every country, browser, or network — codes like 403/429 frequently reflect bot protection rather than downtime. Checks are plain GET requests from our infrastructure; by submitting a URL you confirm you have the right to have that URL checked.
